Kauri is one of the cuddly soft and long lasting beautiful New Zealand brushtail possum yarns.
The blend of 60% merino wool, 30% brushtail possum fiber and 10% mulberry silk impresses with its light sheen combined with light fluffiness.
For this fingering weight yarn with 154m/40 g we recommend needle size 3,5-4,5mm. 6-7 balls are enough for a simple sweater in size 40. It comes in 15 natural and gemstone shades, which create their own liveliness in the knitted pattern due to the dark possum fiber (we do not bleach).
Machine washable, does not pill and is a luxury for your hands already while knitting.
